blog post #3 - what is domestic violence

hello, my third blog post will be based on what is domestic violence really? I will be doing research to help me and others to fully understand what it is and how it happens. so what is domestic violence, Domestic violence is abuse or other acts of violence in a domestic setting such as marriage, home, or relationship. This is commonly found to happen when one partner feels like they need more power or control over the other person in a relationship. Domestic violence is only just physical but also sexual, emotional, economic and psychological. This can happen to anyone no matter race, gender, or anything like that.

While this definitely effects the victim in horrible ways it can also have an impact on the people around it. An example of this could be a kid who grew up with violence in their household will think its a normal way of life and can cause it to happen again. This is just a reason why this is a very serious topic, that should be talked about more.Knowing these things from my research helps me have a better prespective on this topic and how i can use this knowledge to my advantage. Making this film a drama also helps be able to show and represent real examples of it.
