blog post #10 - characters blueprint

In my 10th blog I'm going to kind of layout my idea of what characters i want in my film. Knowing the stereotypes from my recent blog post I'm going to use it in my film. I want the abuser in my film to be a teenage male in a relationship with a teenage girl. This way it can fit the stereotype of men being more powerful and being the abuser.  So, in my film I will be able to use certain details to make the male more intimidating and powerful. This will also make it easier to make the women look more frightened and scared of him.

By doing that will allow me to use the stereotype to my advantage.  The women in my film will be shown as less powerful then her significant other. I'm not totally sure how I'm going to use certain details to really show the point of her being mistreated and scared while then man is doing these abusive things to her. I want my film to seem realistic drama where this is something that could actually be happening to someone. So being able to find camera angles, clothes, make up to show the importance of this in my characters.
