blog post #11 - Sound study
Welcome back to my blog, in this i will be doing research on how sound is important to films and sounds that are good to use. In my film i want there to be real time sound such as dialogue to allow the audience to hear the characters communicating. This will allow for better experience and more accurate scenarios of domestic violence. This is because domestic violence is not always physical and can be verbal. So by having dialogue will let me be able to add arguing to my scenes for better experience.
ON the other hand,
i am wanting to add nondiegetic sound such as music and sounds to really boost the mood of a scene. sound plays a huge role in films and i want to use this to my advantage. I'm going to add sound that will enhance things such as the setting camera shots and lighting. An example is playing more dramatic slower music to enhance the feel of being scared and not being able to see much. BY knowing this and seeing it done before i will use sound to my advantage is my film.
