blog post #9 - camera angles/shots
Hello welcome back to my blog post, in my 9th post I will be doing research about camera angles/ and shots in film. I think this topic is very important to research because camera work can make or break someone's film. Look at some of the most famous films they always have amazing camera shots that allow the viewer to have a more depth look into the film. This is a reason why I am researching camera work then it won't only make my film look professional but also have the viewers' attention and understanding what's going on. Just by having decent camera work will allow you to have a better film and implement this stuff into it.
Since we talked a lot about camera shots this year already, I already had some background knowledge while researching. This helped me decided what camera shot I think are the best in drama films and what shots I'm most likely going to add to me scenes. A major shot I'm going to use is the close up shot, this shot allows the viewers to get a good look at certain details you might not be able to see without the close up. Another important shot is the medium and two shot, these are very important for when there is dialogue between two characters and in this case with the two shots will allow to see domestic violence really happening. This is why camera shots is so important because it can determine everything about your film and i want to make sure i use correct angles and shots for my film.
