Blog post # 16 - typical conventions

In today's blog post i will be learning about what are the typical conventions in a drama film. This is an important aspect of my film because it is a range from props to clothes and etc. These are how i will be able to represent things as they do in drama films. This also is similar to mise en scene in the sense most the of these conventions are/will be shown on the camera.  i was trying to figure out what are good conventions i can have in my film that pother drama films i have seen that influenced my film.

Setting- In the setting of my film there are going to be real world locations, such as a house, the school, etc. I also have learned that many famous locations are used in big films.

Technical conventions- these technical conventions are one of the most important aspects of a film. These can be lighting, dialogue, monologue, the set, costuming and clothes, These play aa huge role because this is going to determine how the film will be seen by the viewers.

Costumes- these are what will represent the character and will fit their own personality.
