Blog post #17 - genre history

 In my 17th blog post i will be talking about the history. With this research i will be learning where drama was invented and how it grew along with time. Drama was first originated in Greece, Drama was linked to God and worshiping the god of Dionysus. This is how the genre of drama was first ever created. One of the first ever people known for their act of drama went by the name Thespis would introduce actors and dialogue to the stage.

Drama was later then adapted by the romans. The romans were the first to impalement something to drama. they add their own element of comedy. After this era of drama, it continued to grow over time and evolve through the medieval and renaissance period. Drama continued to keep growing and people would add their own feature to it all the way to now the modern era. This reflected and had impacts on social and cultural changes on each of these eras that used drama in different ways.
