Blog post # 34 - Props and costuming
In this blog i will be showing props with costuming that my characters will be wearing and use in my film. Relating to my other research blog posts about the topic of props and costuming and how they are very important for things such as expressing characteristics and feelings. This can be shown by the way someone dresses and carries their self, this will also connect the viewers to the characters. I picked these costuming for my main characters to fit stereotypes of domestic violence
In my final project this will be the costuming of the main character Sarah. This will help perceive the image that she’s more put together and takes care of her self more than the abusive bf.
This will be my other main characters costuming Bruce. This will fit the description that I have expalined and imaged from past blog post. This will also help with the stereotype in domestic violence couple assuming the man dosent care about how he’s looked at and is just rude/aggressive.
For a main prop that will be showcased in my film is makeup. The make will be used to cover up the marks and bruisers Sarah receives through out this abusive relationship. This will be a big part of the film having a huge role in my scenes.
